Spear Films, LLC dba Spear Productions a motion picture company, is currently searching for investors to help co-finance the completion for their upcoming featured film debut THE UTAH MURDER PROJECT.

The film will mark the second in a line of original suspense thrillers conceptualized and directed by Charles Hage. Boasting a strong supporting cast and seasoned veterans ; The Utah Murder Project is a dark and superbly intense road thriller in the vain of such thrillers as Breakdown and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Our proposed budget is $1.5 million to $3 million. The project will be shot on location in Kanab, Utah with the full cooperation of the Kanab Sheriff's Department. All locations for the film, as well as shooting permits, have already been acquired.

The Utah Murder Project teaser trailer featured on this webpage is the first 35mm production under the Spear Productions name. The actors depicted in the film were hired solely for the production of this teaser trailer.
