Spear Films, LLC dba Spear Productions dates back to 2003. The film’s triumphant opening on July 2, 2005 as the first drama short film shown in the New York International Film Festival prompted Charles Hage to found Spear Films, LLC to quickly partner with Ramon Sanchez and began to produce movies in Hollywood, beginning with The Utah Murder Project short clips.

October 21, 2007 marked a turning point in Spear Films history. The company acquired funding from various sources and filmed it’s first full-length thriller Dark Games directed by Hage and written by Eric Dickson.

A good script is the foundation for a good film, this has always been the philosophy of Spear Films, LLC but even the best one may need to be developed or molded to work well on the big screen. In many cases, Hage may work with the writer early on to help develop a script from its infancy.
