MARTIN KOVE
made his feature film debut in Wes Craven’s now infamous cult classic The Last House on the Left, playing a goofy deputy on the trail of two missing teenagers. The film is widely acclaimed as the most brutally shocking and violent horror film ever made. Three years later, Kove portrayed “Nero The Hero” appearing opposite Sylvester Stallone and David Carradine in Roger Corman’s critically acclaimed road picture Death Race 2000. Kove would find steady work in the early 80s playing Detective Victor Isbecki on Tvs “Cagney and Lacey“ before launching to stardom as the evil Cobra Kie sensei John Kreese in 1984’s The Karate Kid. (He is the only actor in the series, besides Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita, to appear in all three films.)
One year later, Kove reunited with Sylvester Stallone in the box office mega hit Rambo: First Blood, Part II. His other appearances include Wyatt Earp, Steel Justice and a starring role on the short lived television series Hard Time on Planet Earth.
